Drumcarrow was established in 1998 has been a BHS Approved Livery Yard since 2002 and became an Approved Centre in 2017.
The yard is family run and has a very friendly and helpful atmosphere. The secure, heated tack room is the social centre of the facility where everyone meets. Free tea and coffee is available for everyone.
Yard ‘nights out’ are sometimes legendary!
Livery customers are able to take advantage of the fact that the owners are serious and committed horse owners, who have built up a quality facility. Someone is always at hand to provide friendly knowledgeable assistance if required.
There is sufficient grazing allowing horses to be turned out every day. Even in the middle of winter horses can be turned out in paddocks for a few hours to stretch their legs.
There are quiet roads and plenty of off road hacking. The beach at St Andrews is only 3 miles away.
There are 70 high quality Loddon boxes in a series of modern barns all with rubber mats, water drinkers, hay rack and swivel manger.

It is flood lit and well drained.
15 metre diameter secure pen made from Loddon panels with an Equestrian Surfaces "Sound Track" surface.
A 15 metre partially covered 5 horse walker of high specification with variable speed and automatic reverse. The walking area is considerably wider than in standard walkers. It has a rubber matted surface.
A hot horse shower and solarium are available.
Great care is taken making haylage. As much as possible is made on the farm and is triple wrapped to retain quality and reduce the chance of mould.
All types of livery are available. A full range of services are offered to everyone. All customers have the option to use any of our livery services as/when or if they are required, even if it is only in a one off emergency situation eg when the car brakes down. There is a livery contract.
